Accessing Scorelink database backups

The Scorelink Server is configured to take a nightly backup of the databases contained within the virtual machine every weekday (Monday to Friday) at 9:00pm. Each database backup will result in a *.bak file being created in the backup directory. The contents of this directory should be included in your regular backup strategy to ensure that the data is adequately protected from system failure.

  1. Open a run command by clicking Start > Run (Or Windows Key + R)
  2. Type in \\scorelink\backup$ > click OK
  3. If you are prompted for authentication use the following:
    Username: scorelink\site user
    Password: d3fault!
  4. The share should now open up in an explorer window and show any backup files that are currently available.
Note: Once you have accessed the backup share please ensure all backup files are backed up using your current backup strategy.
