Configure the extractor – Server Schools

Scorelink is designed to automatically stay up-to-date with your student information stored in EDSAS. As a new install please follow through this guide to set-up the initial data transfer and ensure the correct connectivity from the Admin and Curriculum Networks to Scorelink

Connector and Extractor

The Connector and Extractor are responsible for the transfer of staff and student data into the Scorelink system. The Connector is used to ensure that the Scorelink server is accessible from your admin workstations, and the Extractor is used to actually push the data.

1. Login to an admin workstation using the “Manager” account
2. Open up My Computer and type \\scorelink\programs\Admin Server in the address bar then press enter.                                  
3. When prompted for credentials enter in the following:
   Username: scorelink\data
   Password: sc0rel1nk
4. Copy the Scorelink folder (Right Click > Copy)
5. Navigate to Y:
6. Paste copied Scorelink folder (Ctrl + V)
7. Click Yes to merge files if the folder already exists

Initiate Preliminary Data Transfer

Please perform these steps to ensure the data transfer will be successful. After you have run this once, it will be performed automatically when the first user with relevant rights logs into the Administration Network each day.

1. Login to an admin workstation using the “Manager” account
2. Navigate to Y:\Scorelink
3. Double Click on Wrapper.cmdThis will launch the required programs to initiate the data transfer. Please wait until the black window disappears
